Condition:The overall condition is good to very good, in consideration of the age of the item, with the following:Split/Separated Seams: Lacquered leather band around edge has started to split at side of trunk. Lining peeling back from interior surface at corner near hinge. Small tear/worn spot in canvas at top of trunk.Losses: Leather handles at both sides are missing, as well as the leather buckled strap and keys. Fading/Color Change: General darkening/finish loss to lacquered leather bands around suitcase, with several roughened spots concentrated at edges. Stained wood slats have finish loss & lightening throughout. Soiling/Spots: Faint water mark/stain on right hand side of padded lining in lid. A few very faint marks throughout lining at base. Corrosion/Tarnish: General tarnish to all of the metal hardware, including rivets and latch closures.Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use.
